Timberwolves making an "Impression" on TSL -Michael Wilbon

Some have wondered what is going on in Minnesota? Some have asked, is there a method to his madness? But no one has asked him... Gm Impressions has a plan to take over the West and trade by trade he is slipping back under the radar where he prefers to reside. In today's Friday conversation, I sat down over krispy kremes and coffee with Gm Impressions to get a better understanding of the master plan.

Wilbon: Well, thanks impressions for your time off bat, I know you're a busy man just based off your activity alone in the trade and free agency market, so thanks for carving out this time.

Impr: No problem Mike.

Wilbon: So tell me, what is your team philosiphy and who is the player you plan to build this franchise around?

Impr: My team philosophy is to have solid defense and to attack the basket. The go to guy is Iggy and we in Minnesota would like to surround him with a few shooters so when he gets to the rack he can dish it out for some quality looks.

Wilbon: Drive and kick, it has worked for generations and yet people stray away from it.

Impr: Exaclty.

Wilbon: (Laughs) So how do your players enjoy the culture in Minnesota outside of the cold weather?

Impr: Well the weather is bad, but that's what Range Rovers are for (haha). Furthermore, not a lot of culture here in Minnesota but with each year players will rebuild the culture of this lost franchise.

Wilbon: Well, digging a little deeper, how do you feel about players around the league not wanting to be traded to Minnesota because they don't believe you actually want them? They are afraid to move thier families from their current residences because they fear they will be moved again, and soon. One recent player traded from Minessota, Danny Granger tweeted, "Hide your kids, hide your wife, you're getting traded to Minnesota @iggy"

Impr: While I can see the humor in that, we in Minnesota are always looking for the right mesh of players and that means everyone is on the block all the time. If we here in management feel we are making the team better then we are gonna pull the trigger on a trade. Players know when they come here that they are playing fmor a proven winner and will see success!

Wilbon: Speaking of success what would be a successful season for the wolves next year?

Impr: A successful season for our franchise will be no less than a conference finals spot. We feel the players will be there and our coach will be there and the next stop is just around the corner. There are alot of good opponents in the league but we dont shy away from anyone.

Wilbon: Well, we are expecting great things out of Minnesota this season, best of luck to you.

Impr: Thanks Mike, have a good one.
